Coach Bunck originally heralds from the Flanders, Belgium where he played for approxoimately 10 years at 2 clubs affiliated with the Koninklijke Belgische Voetbal Bond. He likes to think his "old world" ties gave him the real zeal for the sport of soccer.
Coach Bunck joined the Mustang soccer staff in 2008, after having taught in Sheldon ISD and coaching in the Crosby ISD. He teaches freshmen World Geography and coaches the Boy's Junior Varsity soccer team. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland overseas. He is proud of being a world traveler and having visited places like Romania, the Netherlands, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Coach Herbst returns to Kingwood High School after spending the last three years as the head girls coach at Kingwood Park High School where he guided the Lady Panthers to two district championships and three playoff appearances. Dean received his Masters of Education from Sam Houston State University in 2002 and is a 1991 graduate of Midwestern State University where he was a member of the rugby team and threw javelin on the track and field team. He is a former player and captain of the Plano East Senior High School soccer team and several Dallas Classic League clubs.
Coach Herbst served as the head women's coach at Kingwood High School from 2005 -2007. During his tenure at Kingwood, he guided the Lady Mustangs to three regional tournament appearances. Prior to moving to the Kingwood area, he was the head women's and men's coach and served as the soccer coordinator at Allen High School where he led the women's team to a regional tournament appearance in 1996. That year, he was named the Region I Women's Coach of the Year and was a nominee for Texas High School Women's Soccer Coach of the Year. Dean is active in the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Coach Herbst holds coaching licenses from the NSCAA, USSF, and The English Football Association. In 1996, he attended the Futbol Today International Futbol clinic at which he completed the IFA (Irish Football Association) "C" certificate course.
